When the UV light strikes the internal surface of the titanium chamber it produces an instant photocatalytic reaction and generates Hydroxyl Radicals, a powerful oxidant, that instantly destroys organic and inorganic matters, neutralising water-born algae, bacteria and viruses resulting in clearer water whilst being perfectly safe for all pond life. The Evolution Aqua evo UV Ti, Titanium Enhanced UV Clarifier is up to 1.5 times more effective than a standard UV Unit.
